Mrs. Watkins and Mrs. Boyd's third grade classes joined forces and took on Decatur's Animal Shelter for their service learning project. Money was collected from the children to purchase dog food, flea collars and leashes. Also, each child painted a bandana for a pet to wear on adoption day.
